Dang! With a title like Yaadein, a nice star cast, good music, one would think that Subhash Ghai is making a blockbuster. Lackluster is the REAL word. The movie is not a good movie. There are too many shifts in the plot, boring dialogues, and most importantly, dull screenplay. The only thing to praise is the scenery, however, we have seen it many times before. The story, as I said, has too many shifts. It started as a struggle of a single father, then goes to the weddings of his daughter, then moves on to the love story between his godson and daughter, and then there is the typical man engaged to another girl, then there is a fight for money, then you the dullest ending you will ever see which is overdone. Does the movie have positives? Yes, the scenery is good. And Jackie Shroff is the only positive thing in the movie. His scene at his wife's death scene was amazing. Truly an awesome actor.
