They marvel at how so much has changed. They relive their last moments with their loved ones. The more Hannah talks about Emil, the lighter she feels. As Ren listens, he becomes more absorbed with Hannah. Ren tells Hannah many have lost loved ones in the tsunami. And not being able to say goodbye is not fair to both the living and the dead. Hannah gasps when she sees puddles forming at her feet. Then in a shivering voice, Hannah asks, "Have I died?"
