The story revolves around Flix who, on the eve of his 20th birthday, invites his new girlfriend, Queen, to spend two weeks on the island of Noirmoutier so that he can introduce her to his old friends. After the romantic misadventures of the previous year, when Flix was still struggling with excess weight, he is finally feeling vaguely self-confident and is starting to like himself a little, although he still can’t get over the fact that a beautiful girl like Queen could be interested in him, which feeds into his fear of their relationship failing. But when Queen arrives on the island, everything changes: catapulted into the middle-class world of Flix’s friends, Queen strikes all the wrong notes.
